About the role
Build tooling and infrastructure for the systematic Commodities desk, and implement models as the desk expands into new areas. Work independently as the desk’s sole developer, collaborating with Portfolio Managers and Quant Researchers to deliver software for front-office users. Requires a degree equivalent to at least a UK 2:1 in Computer Science or a similar field from a leading university, plus five or more years of Python development experience in financial markets. Candidates should have hands-on experience building and deploying data pipelines, familiarity with modern infrastructure platforms, and strong communication and collaboration skills; Commodities experience is desirable but not required.
