About the role
Develop and enhance Python applications, simulation and backtesting tools, trading analytics, and data pipelines for Asia-Pacific electricity markets. Work with traders, quantitative analysts, and risk teams to automate workflows, integrate external data, and support reliable trading applications and decision-making. At least 3 years of experience in software engineering, quantitative development, or trading technology, with strong Python skills and knowledge of algorithms, numerical methods, and data structures. Relevant experience includes simulation, backtesting, analytical applications, or quantitative trading environments; SQL, C++, cloud technologies, and energy or commodities experience are advantageous.
