About the role
Build and maintain production-grade Python systems for forecasting, asset optimization and dispatch, energy trading, simulation, and backtesting. Refactor quantitative research code into reliable, maintainable software while improving architecture, testing, observability, performance, and engineering standards across the analytics team. Strong Python engineering experience is required, including turning research or quantitative models into well-structured production systems with robust interfaces and error handling. Candidates should have strong testing and performance optimization skills, understand CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and production reliability, and communicate effectively with quantitative analysts, data scientists, and engineering teams.
